Pleasantville Baptist Academy is for the children of our church members from 1st thru 12th grade.  We use the A. C. E. curriculum and have paid staff as well as volunteer helpers from our church congregation.  Our trained supervisors have college degrees in the teaching field.  Miss Kim Johnson is the Supervisor for the 7th - 12th grades and Miss Rebekah Johnston is the Supervisor for the 1st - 6th grades.  Each year we conclude the school year with a graduation and award ceremony.  During the year our students enjoy field trips and incentives for achievements they make.  The 7th - 12th grade students may participate on our school basketball and volleyball teams.  Our goal is to train our students to have a real relationship with God and receive an education that will allow them to become productive citizens, employees, and Christians after they graduate.  During the school year we also work with Home school families from the church and teach traditional classes once a week for the benefit of the Academy Students as well as the Home school students alike.  For more information about the school please call the church office at 515-848-5887.
