At Pleasantville Baptist Church we have several families which home school thier children and we welcome families into our church who choose to teach thier children at home.  We want to work with families and be a help and encouragement to you as you educate your children.

 

We take time during the school year to teach classes each week at Pleasantville Baptist Academy that also include our home school students in 7th - 12th grade.  Classes include Bible, Baptist History, Home Economics, and Shop.

 

Pleasantville Baptist Church also has a church Basketball and Volleyball team for students in 7th through 12th grades.  Each season several home and away games are played against other churches or schools in the state of Iowa along with a couple all day tournaments as well.  Participation is encouraged by all of our younger church members in our sports program.

 

We want to welcome you to our church if you are a family that chooses to home school.  We are not trying to be in competition with the family structure.  We want to help build families and respect individual family convictions based upon how the Lord leads you to educate your children.
